Girijan Cooperative Corporation has established in the year 1956 for the economic upliftment of Tribes in the State of Andhra Pradesh and serving around 4.0 million tribes out of total tribal population of 5.0 Millions in the combined State. After bifurcation the GCC has registered and emerged as TSGCC and its network covered the erstwhile Districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Medak, Karimnagar, Khammam, Nalgonda, Reddyreddy and Warangal.
OBJECTIVES:

To procure Minor Forest Produce (MFP) by paying remunerative prices.

To ensure supply of Essential Commodities under the Public Distribution System (PDS) and Sale of other daily requirements (D.Rs) at reasonable prices to tribal consumers.

To supply Food Provisions & Cosmetics items to Tribal Welfare Institutions

To undertake activities such as grading and processing / value addition to MFP produces
The TSGCC is serving 2,17,534 Tribal Families through the Network of 3 Division Offices, 18 Co-operative Marketing Societies and its 300 Regular DR Depots, and 176 Sub Depots located in Agency Areas.
